toshiba 37xv555d screen is diffrent shades can any body help

i there can any body help me i have a toshiba regza 37xv555d when i bought the tv it had a backlight issue i replaced the inverter board now when you turn it on every think works but the problem now is the screen is split in four going across the screen the top stripe is like perfect but the other three looks like thay are a darker shade (tinted) does any body now what causes this problem or how to fix it

This is probably an LCD panel defect due to tab bonds. Inverters can't cause this.

i mate i changed the inverter as the backlights was not lighting up . just this mean the lcd panel is scrap or can it be repaired

watched the video mate do you think this will cure it as he had one sripe were mine as four or could it be one of the resisters on the buffere boards

thanks mate done tv as it wasnt top ribbons it was the tabs on side of the screen fully working now

i mate i now it was a chunghwa its the same as what are fitted in the lg

Very interesting, sure like to see the side tab bonding, never seen that setup before.

I do know early Chungwha displays used a separate driver board for the vertical drivers. Most LCDs nowadays take signals directly through the LCD glass.
