    Samsung HLN567WX Display Issues

    Hi everyone

rescued this rear projector from the land fill as it was not a crt, tv actually worked after recapping power supply, picture was a bit dim and fuzzy so I opened it up further and found that the color wheel had disintegrated, but had enough shards left to actually work, just sounded like a 747. swapped it out and now I get this as a display, wierd rippling across the screen(pictured). Hard to describe, the pictures show up ok, these lines just go down the screen on any input, the TV menu shows up great no ripple. All voltages are right on as per specs and nothing seems damaged on the video boards. Any ideas?
    Cheers

I believe there is a setting in the service menu for different color wheels.
In otherwords, is the length of each color on the new wheel the same as the old?

I can't remember if it caused this but something to look into.

When the color wheel is replaced, make sure
to adjust the delay value of 1.DDP1010 to
    factory settings.
(Adjust to the position where the color red is
    strongest.)

So that goes to 0-359 where 223 is default. I think is more for color issues but worth a shot I think

    Other info I Found:

∗ When the screen trembles or flickers:
    Check R300,R297 74.25MHz
    Check IC103 1Pin, R387 150Hz
    Check R329(45KHz), R327(60Hz),
    R319(45KHz), R311(66MHz)
Check the voltage and GND of IC115.
Check the VCC and GND of IC114.
Check if R279 and R267 are at 400MHz
    (by using 1GHz Probe).
    Check IC113 VCC, GND.
    Check IC102 2,4Pin is 1.8V.
    Check R282 1.5V
    Check X102 3Pin and R290 100MHz

      Hi
the new wheel was a direct replacement, ordered for this tv, i was thinking there was some sync problem, the lines do sort of follow a rotation, like catching the edge of the color wedge
Thanks for all the test points! Thanks again, I will put it into service mode and check it out
      Cheers
