    ln-t4671f infamous on/off clicking

replaced the powerboard and tv came on fine then after 3-4 minutes it went off again and started doing the clicking on/off again. had a new video board on hand so i replaced the video board and the clicking went away but so did my video. the sound worked fine but the screen showed nothing but a feint grey which started in the corner an spread throughout the tv.

so the tv looked great for the 4 minutes it was on with the old video/mainboard and the new video/mainboard seemed to fix the on/off issue should i replace the tcon board? would that fix the problem that the new mainboard is causing or will replacing the tcon board fix the 4 min power off from the old video/mainboard?

Check that all the connectors are secure esp the LVDS.
Test the fuse/s on the Tcon.

If the fuses are bad would it even allow the tv to come one for the 3-4 minutes?

Do you think it could possibly be the FRC board causing this problem?

Probably not - I misunderstood -thought since you changed the boards it wouldnt work with either set and so may have blown a fuse.

Which is the FRC board - not a term I know.

            Thanks Tom

Perhaps set it up with the 4 minute boards and try a factory reset?
