Viewsonic N3250W Picture doesn't go all the way to the edge

Ok, the fsp212-3f01 power supply has been fixed, with the
help of Budm's pictures (zener diode polarity was not marked
on the PCB board), and this TV powers up! And I can get the
menu and adjust volume and channels. YAY!

But, the blue screen doesn't go the way to the edge of the right side
of the screen(TV was upside down for pics):





Anyone know what might cause this? I'd like to fix it if I can, because it
will likely make the set hard to sell.

Is it perhaps because the tv has been lying around in pieces for so long?

Maybe try setting it to factory defaults?

Some TVs have an "edge enhancement" feature, it's supposed to make pictures look better. If that's not the issue, then it will be the t-con, most likely the TFT ON voltage is too low.

Ok, but this is only happening on one side of the screen, so
not likely an enhancement feature.

And is it possible a low TFT ON voltage can affect only one
side of the screen??

Yes, it is quite possible, the TFT ON being too low can cause uneven diffusion across the panel, due to manufacturing characteristics. It could also be an LCD/panel problem, maybe moisture, or the backlight layer peeling/distorting (repairable but tricky)
