LG 42PC35 blinks green led 6 times

hi,
i have read a lot in this forum about LG plasmas. tried to troubleshot it myself but now i am stuck.
-Tv had been opened before.
pressing power button, turned the led from red to green. relay clicked. clicked again after 2 seconds, then the green led blinked 6 times. panel did not glow at all.

-opened the cover.
the tv uses the panel PDP42X40523, psu EAY32808901, YSUS EAX36953201, ZSUS EAX36921501.

no blown fuses.
the Vs voltage tries to bump when the first relay clicks, but looks like sth stops it. 5V is on only 1 or 2 seconds till relay clicks again.
disconnecting the connector, Vs goes up to 200V for 1-2 seconds than fades although the relay doesnt click again. so does the 5V.
AC_detect pin is 4.8V, goes 5.1V during the 2 relay clicks than 4.8V again.

-inspecting the boards.
although no fuses are blown, i found the main IC hybrid in the ZSUS shorted.
read that this is a b*tch removing. since i do reballing, i used my tactics. preheated the board to 150'C and then desoldered the IC. its a Sanyo STK795-814. ordered through ebay and received it today.
after soldering it hooked everything up with enthusiasm to find that the tv was again blinking 6 times.
i am trying to learn about plasmas and i have read that since the panel doesnt glow it must be sth with the YSUS or the panel itself.

i need your advice. thanks in advance.

Green blink isn't error code but normal start up.

Sometimes Y-sus IPM fails, without short.

If you get no glow, it is the Y-sus. A removed Z-sus causes faint, but visible picture.

thank you tom for the help, i appreciate that.

i forgot to mention that before ordering the ZSUS ic i inspected the buffers and did not notice any visible craters or fail signs.

i am removing ZSUS right now and do some measurings.

at the YSUS, at the IC pins, YER is shorted to Vs. Normal?

nope, bad... there is usually a diode drop between them.

i just put it in preheat. it will take 15-20 minutes to properly desolder it.

STK795-813, and the Vs to YER is shorted!
order a new hybrid? worth it?

Hello,
Seems i have a similar issue with same power supply board i figured i shouldn't open another thread.
I have a insignia tv with panel PDP42X3 and Power supply EAY32808901. VS and VA comes in perfectly for 2 secs then drops down. All other voltages in different connector remain (19V, 12V, 5V) This happens no matter if i have the Y and X Boards connected. I also have isolated the power supply completely and jumped the VS-On with a 5V STB with a 100 ohms resistor and still have the same. VS 188 v come for a sec and slowly drop down.

Ofcourse i figured my problem is in the Power PCb. I replaced all 7 capacitors that initially showed to be physically damage and also have check resistors and FET's and can't find what could be wrong.

I will appreciate any suggestion. Thank you.

Hey Guys, talking about ic short, i have LG 42s1 am working on right now, the 197v and 65v vs and va volt comes up when i power the plasma without plugging ysus and zsus, but when i plug them the two voltage will shut down
please can anyone help with a solution on how to trouble it?
