A friend brought me this set today and said he just bought it last year. The picture started cutting out on him and now only displays for 2 seconds and then goes black. Opened it up and inspected for obvious failures, specifically for bad capacitors. Pulled of the cage on the main board and voila! Three buldging 1000uf caps in plain sight. Easy peezy.
