I know this has probably been covered, but I have a Toshiba 42rv530u that does absolutely nothing when the power button is pressed. I have reason to believe it is the main PCB. Apparently there is a way of resetting the firmware by shorting 2 pins on an 8 pin IC on the main board. The power board is new.
I stumbled across this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...rmware+toshiba
and apparently tom66 may know which pins to short? I cannot find it in the service manual, assuming it is not there.
I have never used this site before but hopefully you guys can be some help. Thank you!
