I know this has probably been covered, but I have a Toshiba 42rv530u that does absolutely nothing when the power button is pressed. I have reason to believe it is the main PCB. Apparently there is a way of resetting the firmware by shorting 2 pins on an 8 pin IC on the main board. The power board is new.

I stumbled across this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=19744&highlight=reset+firmware+toshiba

and apparently tom66 may know which pins to short? I cannot find it in the service manual, assuming it is not there.
