    sony kf-50we610 lamp

    it has the infinite blinking, service manual says bulb! is there a way to bypass, so it seems bulb is good an will fire up to diagnose further problems or am i stuck buying a bulb ? yes it is a dlp tv! :|

    edit/. was wrong, the lamp light is supposed to flash, it is the power led flashing with no pause to indicate sequence of any kind, manual thus far has no code for that!

      Hi If the red led on front of T.V. blinks 6 times ,thats a code for the G1 board.

          Check the thermal cutout, it could be open and need replacing. If I remember I replaced a few of these, I think it was for 6 blinks. You can short it out to confirm that it's the problem, but NO NOT leave it shorted, replace it.
          It is located above the lamp area, I can't remember exactly but I think the light engine may need to come partly out to replace it.

              Hi,

              I have a LUMIMAN Smart Bulb that suddenly stopped lighting one day. The bulb is still detected in the app, but won't light. I've probed around and nothing seems to look off with any of the diodes, caps or resistors. The Bluetooth/Wi-Fi module seems to be working as it's still detected in the app. I even tried deleting and re-pairing the bulb (it didn't light, but I was still able to follow the pairing instructions), it re-paired fine, but still no light.

              In diode mode, the LEDs all light up when probed so I'm guessing this means the LEDs themselves are OK. I was expecting...

              Buenas mi nombre es carlos me uni al foro porque estoy buscando el schematic de una sony vaio pcg-41217u otras formas de escribirlo son 1p-0117j01-a012 mbx-237 numero de placa revision 1.2 o Sony VPCSB (MBX-237), en fin me gustaria y ayudaria un monton si alguien me puede dar dichi svhematic para hacer las mediciones de una laptop de la mencionada anteriormente(Sony VAIO PCG-41217U) con el fin de repararla dejo de funcionar solo prende el led de la bateria al pulsar el boton de power el disco empiesa a hacer ruido de actividad pero los leds del frontas no reflejan acividad y no enciende la pantalla....

              Hello , I am looking for a service manual or schematic information to find out where to measure BL-on signal backlight on signal from the mainboard.
              I have a tv which works fine and a spare main board that Ii am trying to fault find that is not turning the backlight on,6 flashes.
              The backlights work ok with other main board.

              Sony KDL-46HX850 Can't upgrade/update firmware

              Diagnosed this TV as having a failed main board which I've replaced with one from a KDL 55HX850. They are (supposedly) the same board.

              Being 'Smart TV' it requires a firmware reboot when you swap out boards such as T-Con or main board. It starts with a black screen and flashing yellow and green LEDS, indicating it needs that firmware boot. The procedure described all over the web is to put the software into the root directory of a FAT32 formatted USB drive and it should load that up once plugged into USB1 port. But not for me.
