i chech my voltages on power/main board on q601 part 2sk3869 is swithing looking at it with the three pins down left being one midle 2 and right three.pin one -51.5 pin two 56.1 and pin three -54.6.there voltages should read s 0.1 g 4.9 and d 165.5also ic 601 has pin 2 has 34.3 and pin1 has 35.4 which is correct but pin 4 has -54.2 it is suppose to be 19.9 and pin 3 has -40.9 it is suppose to be 0.6. this is on led side.ic is for error voltage det.will post pictures in a second

my bad on the reading recheched them and the are up to specs.know i know the importance of always using correct ground i was using cold ground to check hot voltages once i switched my ground to hot.they all heard correct so now i am back to step one.looking to see what is causing my double image and tv to shut down.Comment

LCD displays a 2nd image slighty offset vertically. And multiple pairs of black lines along the bottom. Probably common as google "TCL 49S405 double image" pulls up this ifixit post ( link ) with identical ( nearly, but their fault seems to be on the other half of the panel than mine ) problem without solution.
This one looks to be a more difficult to diagnose because most? of TCON seems integrated ( CSOT BGA on buffer baord) into the left panel edge board ( looking from rear of TV) There are 2 buffer boards for each 1/2 of the screen. Main connects to the left buffer board... -

I'm back with another tv and another problem.
I try to improve my knowledge on fixing TV, and all technics used until now are not fixing correctly the problem.
First, reboot issue, I use tape Method to find out the right side that cases the issue.
Then using this it's working for quite 1hour30, then at some point of time the image became double on the bottom for half the screen.
Then double image reduce in height and move to the top.
The image is like folded on around 1cm and the bottom has been moved to the top by 1cm.

Hello all. 3 years back, with your help, I replaced the LEDs on this TV. It's been working great. Yesterday, I turned it on (garage TV), and it has blurred horiz / vert lines as you see in photos. Definitely no physical hit or damage. Top 1/6th of the screen is perfect. Could it be main / TCON board? No tabs to cut on this model. Thank you...

My 2001 Toshiba 50WP16 50" plasma TV has, after 20 years of trouble-free service, developed a wierd fault in the last 14 days during normal viewing - with no loud bang or smoke or any other excitement.
Every 15-30 secs the right hand half of the image has a "glitch" for about 1 second before reverting to normal. The glitch has two forms and also depends on the aspect ratio setting (see photos):- 16:9 either a) a visible seam between LHS and RHS of impage or b) LHS image duplicated on RHS (photos 16x9)
- 4x3 either a) no image on RHS or b) RHS image offset by 1/6th
