    Samsung PS42A456P2D Help!!!!

    I have a Samsung PS42A456P2D that I am attempting to repair.

    The Fault

    The tv turns on as normal and displays the picture fine. Then after about 10 secoonds it turns itself off then back on. And repeats this process over and over.

    Has anyone ever came accross this problem with this model of tv?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I have also tried a psu that I know works and the fault remains, So I know the fault is not with the psu. Was thinking maybe X or Y sus????

      Samsung UE55F8000SZ Turns on and off immediately

      good morning, I have a samsung UE55F8000SZ tv that turns on, shows the logo and turns off after 1-2 seconds.
      This defect happens continuously, hearing the classic click of the relay every time.

      Power supply board BN44-00636B

      disconnecting the mains and lamps from the power board always causes the same problem.
      Is it normal that without anything connected this power supply turns on and off cyclically?
      any suggestions on what to check?
