Hello,
A few weeks ago, I made a thread about a Toshiba TV that would not turn on. The helpful folks on here helped me to find what was wrong with it, I ordered the parts, and installed them. Amazingly, the TV was indeed fixed.
However, I have another smaller Toshiba TV that I use for my Office/Game Room. About the same time the other one stopped working, this one stopped working. This one is only 3 months old. It is the 24L4200U 1080p model. The problem is with the HDMI 2 Port. When I plug my game console in through this port, I can get a picture, but no sound. When I plug my computer in through this port, I cannot even get a picture to come up. When the sound does work, it makes crackling, popping, and buzzing sounds through the speaker, in addition to the audio that is playing. This only happens using HDMI 2. I contacted Toshiba, and they said it is a hardware issue, and since it is still under warranty, I can get it fixed for free, if I pay the shipping to get it to the depot, which is in my state so it will not be too much.
I am not sure exactly if this is the kind of issue you all deal with on here, but due to the outstandingly amazing support I received with my other TV, I thought I would try here first!
Thanks for reading this incredibly long post.
