Olevia 242-s11 (242V ?)
FSP271-4F02 supply
LG 6332L-0371A and -0372A inverters
power outage blew my power supply couple weeks ago.
it cam back on after outage with a screen distortion that i was able to
clear up switching source signals via remote.
new power supply came with new cables.
connectors were different so could not use old cables.
testing the TV all worked but no backlight.
ordered a used master from ebay..nada got the slave from same guy ...nada
the power supply cable for the master had a mistake OR the model was a variation that the blue inverter ON signal? wire was cabled to pin 14 but the original cable had it on pin 12.
i removed the pin and inserted it to pin12 and VIOLA! backlight!
now i have a new unexplained series of small shadows on the top 3/4 inch of the LCD .
a series of evenly spaced analog shaped shadows.
did i damage the panel during dismantle?
