    Toshiba 46RV530U screen ghosting

    I have this Toshiba 46" lcd tv that was given to me. when you turn on the tv the right side looks great and works great but the left side has shadowing and fades in and out. I was thinking of replacing the T-con but wanted to get another opinion. is there some trouble shooting steps that I could do to see if it is the TCon.

    Failed panel. Common with 46" and 52" based Samsung LCD panels (which your TV probably uses.)

      Does the picture change if you flex the TV frame?
      If it does, it's a tab bond issue. I just fixed my Toshiba
      (with bad tab bond issue) by using thick double sided
      tape two layers deep. My bad tab was the upper right one.
