Sony Bravia KDL-32XBR4 display

Hi,

I've fixed a few monitors with bad caps and now there's a Sony Bravia KDL-32XBR4 TV for sale near where I live. The seller has posted this picture of the display:

The owner says he thinks the panel needs to be replaced.

What's your diagnosis.

My vote would be the tcon. Have you seen this pdf? But price would determine if its worth rolling the dice.

Thanks for the feedback Bill. Am working my way through the pdf.
If it's not the t-con board, is it most then likely the panel making it uneconomic to repair. Are there other possible failure areas to pursue.

Seller has a starting bid of $50.00 on Ebay with no offers. It is local pickup only which is about 20 minutes from my location. I think I will roll the dice.

I wouldn't pay more then $50 for it. Recently I had some bad panel TVs and I'm very cautious about vertical lines.
