My Soyo SYTPT3218AB LCD HDTV gets intermittent broadcast reception. I've tried numerous antennas and locations. The TV will play well on a certain station for days and then suddenly have troubles receiving and holding the signal. The weather does not seem to be a factor. Where do I start looking to solve this problem? Also, I have a TV converter box that gets all the stations and is very stable. Location is not a factor.

I would like to get some help on a 820-2850 logic board with intermittent charging problem. Sometimes the battery will charge all the way and sometimes magsafe would be cycling between green and orange.
I have already tried replacing dc-in board, swapping good battery, swapping genuine 85w chargers. None of that helps..
when it is not intermittent:
PPVBAT_G3H_CHGR_R is 12.07v
when it is intermittent:
When the light is green, PPVBAT_G3H_CHGR_R is 12.99v
when the light is orange, PPVBAT_G3H_CHGR_R is 11.62v

I acquired a (large) used rooftop log periodic broadcast reception antenna and it didn't come with wiring. I figure I could use it for parts if nothing else but first I'd like to see if this thing actually works for receiving distant stations.
From passing from amateur knowledge, these log periodic antennas need to be matched to the impedance of coaxial cable, nevermind the balanced nature to the unbalanced nature of co-ax. So I'll need to locate a balun.
So I was wondering about people who worked on rooftop terrestrial broadcast antennas...are these log periodic... -

Hi all, have a strangely behaving laptop that's giving me issues. It charges thru the barrel jack, but when I watch the battery indicator in BIOS, the charging indicator flickers off and on. When I plug the charger in, I hear hissing from around the area of L67050. I also had an intermittent issue where the fans weren't spinning up at all, allowing the CPU to reach 100C+ in BIOS and OS - this cleared itself up after I left it overnight but of course I don't trust that it'll stay that way. USB C charging works fine.

I have this Telefunken te43550b40q2k TV that has intermittent backlighting, sometimes it turns on and then does not turn back on.
I tested the LED bars and all three work, not even one burned LED, then I tried to put only two bars short-circuiting the end of the connection cable and it does not give any problem the LEDs stay on without problems, I also tried short-circuiting the central connector and the initial one, always no problem, but as soon as I put the third bar, no matter the position the problems start again.
