Hello everynone , greetings ! I am back with some more questions in reference to this model . The tv would not power on , have a red light on , there is a noise coming from a transformer or coil when attemting to power up , then it quiets down but nothing happens . I have checked just about every component including the large filter cap 450 volts 820uf 4 pin capacitor in and out of circuit , ( it reads 745 uf ) I believe there is a 20% margin which is cutting it close. When I checked the voltage across this cap ( is 158 volts DC ) but the second I disconect the power it goes down to no or zero voltage ) My question is :1) Is these cap shorted or leaking and could this be the reason or one of the reasons preventing the tv to come on ? 2) I have two in rush current protection thermistors rated at NTC 4,7 that were questionable when I first saw the board , one of them was kind of charred and seem to have suffer from overheating , the solder was dry . I resolder them back . When measured with the ohmmeter I get 2 ohms reading at room temperature ,is these a normal reading? Am I supposed to read more ohms (NTC 4,7) or are they too low for what they should be ? What is the equivalent for 4,7 .if anyone could help please . Also another weird thing happen while checking dc voltages across a resistor , meter started to read dc voltages , frequency in Megahertz . I didn't know my meter could put frequenzy numbers on the display , any one have an explanation for this phenomenum, thanks for your time and advise ,any help is appreciated . Thanks , BB333
