Hi guys
I'm working on similar Samsung TV UN60J6200AF.
When I plug in power cord, the red light lights up, and flashes, then turns off.
I measured on the power supply board, and even without pressing the power on zbutton in getting on CNM803 (which goes from Power supply to Main board):
UD = 2.3V
PMW_BLU4 = 3.3V
PS_ON = 4.4V
A13V = 12.75V
I looked at the manual and all the voltages are correct.
When I unplug the main board from the power supply, LED lights are supposed to come on. However, non do come on.
Power supply board p/n is: bn44-00775a
I then measured at the LED connector CNL802:
D+ to D - = 419 VDC
All the other connections on the LED plug to ground show 0 VDC on the connector.
I wanted to verify LEDs are good or not, so using SID LED tester MODEL: KT4H, I injected 210V between D- and S+ and the full backboard LEDs lit up. The voltage on meter dropped to around 113V. Then I injected voltage on D+ and S-, and the full backboard LEDs lit up. The voltage on meter dropped to around 113V same as the other loop. And all the LEDs seemed to be lit.
Lastly I tried to put the TV in LED force mode by unplugging the main board from the power supply, the LED lights are supposed to come on. However, non do come on.
I was able to measure, when TV is plugged in, and motherboard cable is disconnected:
PMW_BLU4 = 3.3V
When the motherboard is connected I get:
UD = 0.065V
PMW_BLU4 = 0.1V
PS_ON = 3.3V
A13V = 12.75V
Finally..
When I check voltage to the LEDs with out connector connected it is showing 419VDC+ volts first pin (D+, picture attached) to ground and 0VDC to the rest of the connections to ground. The same happens when I plug in the LED connector and also when I unplug it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
