Nothing worth doing is easy... ;-)

Short story is I'm getting nothing on the panel, and no standby light.
    ,
    Recapping:
    • I am positive my jumpers are soldered to the right pins
    • I am reading 3.5v on the three pins jumped
    • Doing a continuity test when unplugged I am not shorted to any other pins
    • When I plug the TV in the only evidence it is plugged in is a quick little hard to hear one time click coming from the PSU
    • The cable from the PSU to the MB is unplugged at both ends
    • The two cables from the PSU to the T-Con are plugged in
    • The 4 ribbon cables from the T-Con to the panel are plugged in
    • The two ribbon cables from the MP to the T-Con are unplugged at the T-con end

    Any suggestions?

if there are no thin line moving as i wrote.. you need to remove yours jumpers work... wait to PSU discharge and put all together as original... turn on and call with service remote E_Z ADJ menu .. let see the pixel refresh count still on 0 or it had count 1 or more

after yours checks as requested in my posts above #22 & #23 if the count show 0 or 1 mean we do have issue on T-CON firmware... solution:
downgrade the firm ware to early version... ( search how to downgrade ) there are several methods ( Apache server or direct with USB )
after downgrade you need to send IN_STOP again... and if you going to upgrade old to new or current to new also need send IN_STOP.

if this didn't solve yours problem and here i don't think so..... replace T-CON or its SPI
this is my last. good luck

Diah, apologies for the delayed response to thank you for all your efforts, I have been traveling.

One quick question, your suggestion of "call with service remote E_Z ADJ" I'm not sure how to call the E_Z part, my remote has ADJ and when I select it the screen prompts for a pass which I suspect is 0413 but does: ADJ = E_Z ADJ in your suggestion?
