    SAMSUNG PS60E6500 Power Supply BN44-00513A defect and burned

    Hello everyone,

    I have a problem with the power supply of my Samsung PS60E6500.
    The LED of the TV is blinking and it doesn't turn on.

    After checking the power supply I noticed that the PCB board is burned at QP804 (K13A60D), the MOSFET is shorted.

    RP812 is also defect. Unfortunately the resistor is burned so I cannot read the value. Also QP805 and QP806 are shorted. Does anybody have a schematic diagram or does anybody know the type of the parts?

    There is likely more wrong then those parts, the ic is likely damaged as well.
    Check the components in the circuit for QP802, they should be similar values. IE: QP807, QP808, RP810
    BN44-00329A schematic may be similar

      I changed the shorted and damaged parts I could identify with the multimeter:
      QP804 --> K13A60D
      QP805 --> MMBT2222A
      QP806 --> MMBT2907A
      RP807 --> 22 Ohm
      RP808 --> 3.3 Ohm
      RP812 --> 10 kOhm

      This tread helped me to identify the tranisistors:

      When I applied the voltage, it spakred briefly and the new parts are damaged again.
      Is there a possibility to test ICP801? What's the type of this part?

          Thank you for the link.
          This tester is designed to identify excessive current consumption of the entire system.
          In my case, the curren consumption of the whole system is OK. It is only a small part of the schematic that burns. The internal fuse does not trip.

          I just recognized that the link above is not working.

            If you pay attention, a dim bulb tester is used to determine if a short is present or still present and it prevents blowing up components, comprende?

              Exchange the parts again.
              QP804 -> K13A60D
              QP805 -> MMBT222A
              QP806 -> MMBT2907A
              RP807 -> 22 Ohm
              RP808 -> 3.3 Ohm
              RP812 -> 10 KOHM

              Control the NTC, DP809, DP808, QS802, QS804. Definitely renew icp801. Control QP802 with the transistors and resistors.

              LG Thomas

              Tausch die Teile erneut.
              QP804 --> K13A60D
              QP805 --> MMBT2222A
              QP806 --> MMBT2907A
              RP807 --> 22 Ohm
              RP808 --> 3.3 Ohm
              RP812 --> 10 kOhm

              Kontrollier den NTC, DP809,DP808,QS802,QS804. ICP801 definitiv erneuern.

                Hello together,

                I changed the burned parts again and ICP 801 (delivery time for this part was very long...)
                Then the TV started. I was very happy about but then, a buzzing noise came and at the same time the TV shut down. So the TV worked for maximum 3 minutes.

                Now, the same parts are burned again:
                QP804 --> K13A60D
                QP805 --> MMBT2222A
                QP806 --> MMBT2907A
                RP807 --> 22 Ohm
                RP808 --> 3.3 Ohm
                RP812 --> 10 kOhm

                I checked before the NTC, DP809, DP808, QS802, QS804 and QP802 with the transistors and resistors and I couldn't find an error.

                  Today I changed all the damaged parts again. Now the TV doesn't start at all.
                  The red standby LED is blinking and I can measure only the 5V standby voltage.
