This laptop is the same laptop I was working on in this thread and I wasn't sure if I should post a new topic or post in that thread because I already solved the issue that thread was discussing and this is a completely different issue although it is dealing with the same laptop. I decided to make a new thread since it's a new issue, but please move if I made a mistake.

Dear folks, recently got a canon dr-1210c and it worked perfectly just for one day. Right now it shows all possible errors on the screen and do nothing. I tear down the device and found a 32 pin plcc flash chip. I thought reprogramming firmware might be helpful. The firmware update file from canon support include a dll file which doesn't help. Help to find the KBC dump for this model.
The laptop works. but there is a problem, after power off it no longer responds to the power button, that is, you have to reset the battery and it turns on again (autostart).
There is also no keyboard backlight and the touchpad does not work.
The multicontroller is responsible for controlling these functions. Before I replace it, I would like to flash it first. thank you
