I went over to a friend of mine to check out what's wrong with his older computer since it would not start up. I tried to boot it up to see if the start button was somehow broken by shorting the 2 PWR SW. pins but no go. I then tried to start the PSU solely but it didn't start up so i opened the PSU to see one of the worst nightmares i have ever seen. There were loads of burned components on the circuit board, molten rubber from some coil rubber thingy and all caps were total rubbish. CapXon, VENT, and those caps with some planet as a logo. It went straight to the trashcan. Too many burned things to repair it.
The power was some older 250W ATX power supply by KME. (a Chinese manufacturer)
