    Cambridge Audio Stream Magic 6 - Power Supply

    I have here a Cambbridge Audio Stream Magic 6 which does not power on.
    When opening the case the PSU appears to be faulty:

    IC1 (ICE3BR0665J), D2, the rectifier bridge, C15,C16 are dead and T2 is fried:

    I found the schematics of the PSU in the cambridge Audio CXN Service guide which uses the same:
    My problem is that I cannot find any info on T2 (SG01323) which seems to be a choke. Anyone knows how I can find a replacement & the value of that choke ?

    T2 is likely a ET20/UT20 emi input inductor it may be over heated but should still work at least for testing. Remove the ic from the circuit then check C15,C16 and the bridge.

        Well spotted, the ntc is dead (reads 14 ohms).
        C15, C16, the bridge, EC13 as well.

        T2 is indeed an ET20/UT20, but how can I check of how many mH ? (I checked, no continuity between 1 &2 or 3 & 4)

          I unsoldered the inductor, it has written on the side HX SG01323 and under it '14'

          I could not find anywhere a data sheet on SG01323...

              The NTC is not dead! it reads 14Ω which is fine

                  All the filter does is prevent some of the unit's smps noise from going back onto the ac line. pick 10 mH or maybe 6.2mH to get the higher current rating, I would not be concerned about the input choke until you have the rest of the unit working. If the coils are open, just install jumper wires in place of the windings to test the amp.

                      Took a 10mH inductance, everything (C15, C16, the bridge, EC13, T2, the fuse) changed, it works !
