A dead Premier LC-B300ATX...let's see what's inside

WTF are drops of the hot glue everywhere?

Hot glue was dripping all over the place

A bulged cap

Dust caught in the hot glue on the coil

A "high-quality brand-name"
fan, completely stuck - that's why the hot glue is all over there

5A fuse

The table says that 5A is for 180-234W PSU... The label on the outside says 300W

Also the rectifier on 5V rail was shorted. No wonder - it was rated only 10A and even not tightened to the heatsink strongly enough.

Currently changing them for some Nichicon, Rubycon etc. caps I have from my 500W Seasonic (mostly 1500 uF changed for 3300 uF there) and some MoBo's.
Good I have some old AT PSU's here
Half of the computer problems is caused by bad contacts
