Hi guys,
I'm having a problem with the AC charger of my laptop. Since the past few days, the power supply stop working from time to time (Ex.: I'm using my computer and then, it suddenly shuts off). I made sure and it was not temperature.
I checked the charger's pin and I had no 20v. I opened the charger and found a buzzling transformer. I tested If I had 20v on the cable joints and it starts to rise up and then my multimeter falls down to 0v again.
I wonder, is it possible that the buzzling is because the transformer is not working properly? In the last month, I had a couple of power cuts and a transformer died in a 12v PS I have.
I'd upload pictures if you want, but I just wanna know if a buzzling transformer could be a faulty one.
Thanks in advance.
