    Shure AC Adapter PS60E

    Hi All

I had a Shure AC Adapter PS60E that was dead suddenly after a power outage.
    Output 15V - 4A
    60W Max

    Capacitors were
    Samxon RT on Primary Side
    Samxon GF on Secondary Side

Did some troubleshooting and observed that
    SS210 is Shorted at D6

Seeking help to Identify IC2 as comparing with a working adapter, having shorted reading.

    Thanks ))))

There is no PFC. The blown diode D6 is on the secondary side.
It looks like it has synchronous rectification. IC2 I9HKK or |9HKK is MP6901DJ
D6 is supposed to be covered by the TO-220 check the mosfet is not open-circuit or IC2 not working.

I'm not sure what is the reference of IC 2 but if your PSU experienced a power outage i would certainly check the PFC Mosfets, they commonly go damaged after power outages in most cases.

        thanks for replying

Had tested with a multi tester and the mosfets were fine.

                Update:
                Many thanks to redwire !!!!!
It works after replacing the components!!!!!!

The MP6901DJ takes a long time to reach. (Aliexpress)
