is interesting that R011 is open on your supply as well.

Thanks, now I just have to figure out why mine is nothing more than a pair of leads...

Your psu has a different controller I think they might not need it. I wonder why r011 is open must be a short on your 5vsb.

Well I got my 5vsb controller today and it is not happy.
I have a 100watt bulb in series (where the the resister blew)
And it is ticking as if there is a short there is no short.
control has 5volts that is near under voltage cutout.

Try with a new resistor, and put the lightbulb on the AC input in series with entire PSU on the active line?

A repetitive noise in an SMPS is not always a short

as i stated in last part of post it is in under voltage mode.

may be the case as the filament in the bulb is inductive

                  Still not happy.
I removed fuse and attached 100 watt bulb and put in .44 ohm resistor with no change

Why are you removing fuse ? Use Series bulb outside of the circuit, put series bulb in your main AC line, Not inside from your circuit board . Now tell us - Is series bulb still glowing after 3 seconds ?

Because it is much less hassle then chopping up a cord just to intercept the phase. And is electrically the same.

Not glowing the controller is going into under voltage protection.
Because control is on the under voltage threshold.

That means you have no 5VSB at output . This is why Control (C) is remaining on the under voltage . It could be happen due to two reasons - One for secondary side problem and other for Primary side .

First - check those parts in the secondary side which are regulating 5VSB . How 5VSB is regulating ? Is it regulating by TL431 or zener ? If so, then check that TL431 or zener and other surroundings resistors and capacitors . And don't forget to check the Opto-coupler also .

Found the problem aux winding had a break.
                          Running normally now.

That seems odd, since the model and revision are exactly the same. Then again, it wouldn't be the first time a manufacturer changed a design without modifying the sticker...
