    Parts List Spreadsheet for PSU

I am starting (yet another) reference spread sheet for my public library.

If anybody is interested, please email me a known list of caps used in your PSU projects. Please include count, type, uF, voltage, etc. All the pertinent stuff you would want when you reference the sheet for an unknown PSU.

This will let everybody check their stock prior to opening up and disassembling a PSU for repair. For example, I have an Antec PP-412X that I took the board out of, but I still cannot see all the caps to order parts. I will have to remove the caps from the board, wait for an order to arrive, then get back to work.

I just did an Antec 430.
Here's the spreadsheet info saved as a tab delimited text file.
Should import into Excell no prob.

As I mentioned in your other thread, the only problem you'll really run into on that unit is cap height for 5vsb - the heatsink limits height a bit there. I just bent the lowest fins upward though and got 30mm high caps to fit fine that way. The 12v caps are those oddball 1650uF 16v caps - I used 1500uF.

My choice of cap for this unit were Panasonic FM and Chemi-Con KY. I think it was Chemi-Con for just the 12v in here, and Panny for all others. Gave the PSU to a friend after - it's still holding up for him, and he has it really loaded down

I've been busy adding data to the spread sheet.

Also got an email from Antec... they are going to RMA my out-of-warranty PSU that is chock full of Fuhkyyu caps...
