Need some ideas from P/S expert...
My TAGAN 380W P/S has buzzing noise from the active PFC circuit, soft but audioble in quiet environment.
I found out it is due to the film capacitor connected to the bridge rectifier (+) (-): 2uF 250Vac. I think the original cap is metallized polypropylene (Aid Electronics).
I changed to another axial type, same value... and the noise level become almost inaudible. I come to know that film cap will exhibit buzzing sound due to vibration between films. Is there any good film cap for this type of application ? Have anyone tried Panasonic ECWF(L) series before ?
