Hi all, at the moment i need a psu for an AMD Athlon 64 3000 soket 939, 1 hdd and an GF6600gt.
The case did not allow additional fans to mount in.
i have 3 PSU`s to choose from:
Amacrox Frei Erde AX440GLN for 59,9€
Seasonic s12 330w 50€
Seasonic s12 380w 59,9€.
Now in my experience the Amacrox has very high air flow, which would be in that particular case a good choice. On the other side i know, that those Seasonic are very well build units (may be a tad better than Amacxox, but not to mention), but haven`t any personal experience with them.
The only thing i know is, that they generaly are very silent. Thus if anyone has an Seasonic s12 i would be pleased to hear if it is running warm and if the air flow would be sufficient to cool the system down.
With the current LC-6550 psu the system draws about 130w ac max. So the 330w will well suite the needs.
The cpu cooler is an AC Freezer which blows direcktly the warm air towards the psu air intake.
