    please help

    good day sir
I have this AOpen power supply model no.FSP180-60SAV who happens to be defective no power i changed the caps C16 and C19 output voltage because it is out of impedance value is 3300mf 10v but its actual reading is only 1000mf. From AC input up to C1,C2 and rectifier supply is ok but across HIPOT transformer there is 0 voltage. what do you think would be the problem with this? can anyone help me have the schematic diagram of this psu? thanks

Power board for a roller shutter door motor

Could somebody suggest an alternative diode (I think its a diode). It says A3 N93 but doesn't google anything similar. It has burnt board and is open circuit. It goes in between 1000mf 50 capacitor and a relay RLY1 connecting to bridge rectifier....

    Did I actually fix it?
    by SluggerB
I have an ancient AMD 770 motherboard, a BIOSTAR TForce TA770A2. Worked fine enough

I had 8gb of RAM, and wanted to upgrade to 16gb. I bought some RAM off ebay, I will spare you the gory details, but long and short of it, no configuration of RAM would actually boot into Windows. Sometimes I would get a BIOS post, and Windows would crash, sometimes I would just get a black screen. So I gave up and stuck my 8gb back.

A couple days later, I am using the PC, and it just shuts off in the middle of being used. Like it lost power. I reboot, use the PC for a minute, happens...

    LG 50pc1r-zh Flickering
    by nalle077
    Hello experts
I have a LG 50pc1r-zh which is flickering when turn on.
    I replaced 9 3300mf capacitors and 1 1000mf capacitor.
I did not try it befor I changed them as I got it from a friend and I knew it did not work.
Anyway It turns on and I hear clicking sound and the screen is flickering.
It is exactly the same as this video
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJochQbgncQ
I saw that he also wrote that he replaced capacitors and had the same issue afterwards.
He did not write back if he fixed it or not.
It seems to be the ysus board,...

    Repairing Sony HCD-RG550
    by jiroy
It's been a longtime since I repaired classic stereos like this one , since been focusing on marketing Laptops . That one is for a dear friend so I couldn't escape his insistence . Symptoms , nothing showing life but a continuous flashing on the power button . upon opening , first remarks i took , were , this unit was exposed to a heavy drying air conditioning process throughout long periods , rendering each and every soldier point rusty , and secondly , soldiering initially is truly pathetic , i never expect such low level from Sony , at least when comparing with boards taken from a similar unit...

More CAPS for Gigabyte VAXP Mainboard ?
    by East17
    Hi guys,

I'm new to this forum and maybe this is a stupid quiestion but since I've had to recap a mobo from my collection, the Gigabyte VAXP Rev 1.0, I wanted to ask you if it is ok to add more capacitors around the CPU socket as the mobo's PCB clearly shows there is room for 5 more .

    I've replaced 3 pieces of 1000mf / 6.3V and 2 of 3300mf / 6.3V.

Next and between the 3300mf ones there are 5 more places where I could place 5 more pices. Should I ?

Why yes and why not ? I really don't want it to blow up ...
