Re: Acer LA-H782P-Rev:2.0
Just to complement the picture about onboard memory disable.
The schematic shows the truth table for no memory as:
RAM_ID0 = 1
RAM_ID1 = 1
RAM_ID2 = 1
RAM_ID3 = 1
So you must have RC150, RC151, RC153, and RC224, populated with 10K
And RC155 RC225 RC226 RC227 not populated, to disable the ram.
The resistors changes will be different for the different boards IDs and for the different possible memorys IC brands.
SMDFlea thank you very much, this boardview saved my night. ;DComment

by b-slayerHello.
I have an Acer Aspire A317-53 laptop with faulty onboard ram modules, after online searches, I have only found two options to get it working :
- first one is to modify le bios to disable the onboard ram.
- second one is to disable the onboard ram by desoldering some components on the mainboard.
so after some hours google-ing, i have to give-up the modified bios option, main reason is I couldn't find anywhere a such modified Bios, alternate reason is that if windows update makes a bios update, the problem is always here...
so i found that my motherboard... -

I've found one drop on motherboard near B+ capacitor, it wasn't short.
But motherboard works exactly 60 seconds and turns it self off. Not overheating just exactly 60 seconds. Normally I would say its ME Region problem, but CPU is AMD...
