    15-w237cl - Schematic Request

    Hi All,
Can anyone please help locate the schematic and boardview for HP Envy X360 laptop? The exact model number I'm looking for is 15-w237cl.

I'm trying to identify a blown component that I can hopefully replace and that's my end goal really.

Appreciate any help or advice towards that goal.

Anyway, I'm trying to identify the specific burnt component here in the attached pic. May I get some advice on what kind of component it is (voltage regulator?) and spec (if at all possible)?

I've tried to google for this laptop model number and the component ID U52202 (See pic), but nothing shows up.

    Pic of the burnt component:

The print says HC6MB (to the best of my ability to read)

Pic of the MB Part number:
    https://ibb.co/bFmk4CR

Pic of the replacement part number:
    https://ibb.co/M91wfFC

To add a little more clarity, the burnt part belongs to the display sub-system, I think. I might have haphazardly connected the LVDS cable and that component popped with some smoke.

    Thank you for all/any help!

    Joe.

Without the Motherboard ODM part number, it's hard to find out whether a schematic is available for your laptop or not. Please read the guidelines and post the exact part no of the board (which is often silkscreen rather than printed on a sticker)

The component indeed looks like belongs to LVDS section. I think it's an IC switch which controls VDD power to the panel (usually 3.3v).

Thank you so much for your message.
I couldn't find the silkscreen printed text, hence the pictures. I've seen the ODM part numbers before, but didn't find on this specific board.

Maybe the original screenprint is under the stickers? I will check again and post if I find it.

      Thank you.

Perhaps the mb is LADUREE SKY and the burnt component is likely to be G5243AT11U SOT-23 if it is part of LVDS Circuit. To be sure , compare it with HP LA-C701P diagram.

Was able to match the board layout to this one:
          https://www.amazon.ca/HP-15T-W200-Mo.../dp/B07KWC9MM3

I feel stupid, and admit my mistake, but the silk screen was under the RAM module. I looked at the picture on the link and then realized to look under the RAM.
          Sorry!

Anyway, the exact ODM Numbers are":
          Laduree-Sky (You're right)
          14263-2
          448.06202.0021

Exact schematic for that model seems to be unavailable. However i think the burned part is indeed a LCDVDD switch by referring another similar board schematic . I would suggest first removing the burned part and verify the board can successfully turn on. If ok, check with the below circuit and confirm whether the pin out matches with your board.

              Thanks SO much Anshad!

I don't have the skills to verify the circuit. I could be wrong but I see similar component numbers on the board as well (C5220, R5224 etc) in the same vicinity on the board.
              Hoping it's right.

Based on that diagram you posted, I've ordered this part: RT9724GB-GP.
Will see how it goes. Wish me luck!

              Thank you, once again.
