I need schematic for boardview for Lenovo IdeaPad GS454/GS554/GV450/GV550 NM-D031 REV:1.0 board,
display does not have a backlight and I tried it on another computer and it works correctly, so the problem is in the motherboard.

but I need to ask for help it is the first edp screen I see and I don't know why the backlight does not turn on
I already checked the schematic but I can't find the fault, the only weird thing is on pin 1 and 2 it only gives me 7.5 volt
DISPOFF is not physically on the board
INVT_PWM is missing two resistors that do not come as in the schematic I am lost
I hope you can help me

I’m working on an Asus Zenbook S16 UM5605 and trying to find motherboard schematics or a boardview for this model. I haven’t been able to locate anything useful so far, so hoping someone here might have it or point me in the right direction. What I’ve checked- Asus support site → only user/service manuals, no schematics
- General searches → nothing specific for UM5605
- Compared with similar Zenbook / Ryzen boards, but layouts don’t fully match

My laptop died on me about two years ago. I went through the basic recovery steps a few times and eventually, after plugging the battery back in for the xth time, a capacitor blew up on the board. Weirdly enough, the laptop then booted (battery removed) and has been running without issue ever since.
I'd eventually like to examine the board in detail however I've had zero luck searching for schematics/boardviews for my particular motherboard.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think it would be dumb to toss a "modern" motherboard just because a resistor got scraped off, so here I am. I am hoping to find the right schematic so I can see if the motherboard can live without 1 of 3 60B SMDs in series likely scratched off by the backplate of a PCI-E card install or removal. It could be related to a functionality that is not needed or critical, or it could fry anything I plug into it and power on. If I could find a replacement, I could likely pop in on the board, but if I don't need to, then screw it, I don't mind leaving something dark that doesn't matter....07-06-2025, 02:00 PM
