by whatamidoingHello,
i'm looking for a schematic/boardview for an ASUS E3-PRO V5 (NOT E3 PRO GAMING, has a different layout).
I'm trying to find out where i can find SKTOCC# other than from the socket in order to ground it for a Coffee Lake mod. It must be somewhere near/around the SIO but I haven't found a datasheet for the NCT5539D this board has.
I've also found the schematic for the similarly named E3 PRO GAMING V5 but it has a different SIO so it's not of much help. And I don't trust myself to hold still a multimeter probe on top of a LGA socket pin to find where it comes out the...-

by Kirve"Hello friends. My Asus X556U laptop is not charging, not turning on, etc. I wanted to repair the motherboard, partly for learning purposes. One of the capacitors is giving a 24V output, and one of the MOSFET pins is also giving a 24V output, and honestly, this surprises me. I think I need to replace the capacitor, but I don’t know the capacitance value. I tried searching for a motherboard schematic but couldn’t find anything. Can you help me find the schematic or diagram?"

by grimacelordHello,
I have spent the last hour on this and I guess this is just over my head, so here I am.
I have an ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI motherboard here that needs to have the BIOS updated in order to accept the latest CPUs.
The BIOS chips seem to come as a set of two: GD25B64ESIG and GD25B128ESIG. My guess is one of them is a fail-safe for the main BIOS? I really don't know. Or one of them is ME and other is BIOS? I don't know.
Anyway, I took dumps of both chips and then downloaded the latest update for this motherboard from ASUS's website...-
