    BV/BRD and Schematics for Xperia XZ1 Compact (G8441)

    Hey all,

    Searched far and wide across the various interwebs for any schematics or boardviews for the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact (G8441). A very niche and somewhat uncommon request, but would greatly help for a BGA repair if anyone has one or knows where to find them. Of course, Sony have manuals and a ROM flashing tool... but no board-level information that can help with actually fixing the phone.

    Before you ask, no, BGA repair on a device with a 32GB eMMC worth basically nothing is not economical at all, but the data on the phone seems quite important to a customer and we all know personal data is much more valuable than the device itself, even if it is a poorly constructed one.

      I have two TCL A30 phones.

      Old Phone: This phone worked fine for years, then stopped charging If you plugged a charger into it, the phone would make the charging sound, the phone would tell you it is charging, but the battery icon would not have the charging symbol in it and the battery would not charge.I tried new battery, same behavior.

      New Phone: Works fine, bought as a donor board to try and repair Old Phone

      My interest here is to repair Old Phone, using components parts off New Phone if needed. I am not interested in replacing Old Phone with New Phone....

      To you programmers out there I want to know if it is possible to put a new OS on the Sonim XP5s phone? I only need this phone to make calls, receive calls, have a list of contacts and be able to call voice mail.
      I bought this phone new Sep.2021 as an unlock phone from a third-party seller. The phone worked fine until Jan 2022. I then had intermittent problems with the sound setting resetting itself. One of the settings, outdoor, would go to silent all by itself. When in silent mode it does not indicate a call has come in. I missed very important phone calls. All the other setting in sound...

      Hi all..
      One of my costumer bring in an ASUS ROG Phone 5 ZS673KS liquid damage.

      After cleaning all of the components from water corrosion the device turn on with some crash capacitor.
      Unfortunately, the touchscreen not responding. While the display are fine without any glitch.

      I already searching here for any topic. But can't find any..
      Please help me to find the schematics & diagram.

      Hi, lastweek i received a Sony SVE151E11M, that after a liquid damage was not starting, after removing oxide and reworking IC and SMD component thet laptop was able to start and was working for 2 DAYS...
      after the 2nd day, the screen become black (no backlight), there is HDD activity (OS is loading) but no screen on internal panel, VGA and HDMI.
      After 25/38 seconds the computer shut down by itself. (i know that is probably not the cause of the blackscreen but a thermal protection of some kind.. but i'm interested on how the shutdown is performed)
      BTW... 2 ICs related to thermal...
