    MSI GF63 9SCX MS-16R4 Schematic Boardview Request

I am looking for schematic and boardview for the MSI GF63 9SCX MS-16R4 laptop.

Was dropped and screen broke but works with external video. Replacement screen and cable does not work. I found schematic/boardview for the 16R3 which is similar but it has a 40pin eDP connector and the 16R4 has 30pin. Want to test if the enable line for backlight is working or not.

    Thanks

You can measure voltages at the screen pcb itself, Google is your friend to find the standart 30pin edp pinout - pin22 is backlight enable signal (3.3V), pin23 is brightness control (3.3V=100% brightness), pin26, 27,28 and 29 are 19V backlight power line. That's it.

Thanks for the tip. Didn't know there was a standard pinout for edp displays.

I ended up fixing it. 3V for LCD logic power was missing. Coil was broken for that voltage regulator. Replaced and all good.
