CH1394A 3.3v mod (I have others but that is the one I am using) neoprogrammer v 2.2.0.10, yes the program autodetects the chip. The chip is the same one on the schematics (SPI NOR 25xx MX77L12850F) that are posted here in another forum The BIOS backup is blank, that is the way the chips come on the cut tape. The manufacturer's BIOS update servicepack has an entire 6 pack of binaries, other than playing ene mini minee mo with the 6 pack I am at a loss as to which to use.
Not trying to be rude but I would not be asking for the BIOS binary if I had a one. This feels like a circlejerk, I ask for a binary and then you ask me to send you one.Comment

I have been doing hardware repair as a hobby for some years now and recently decided to learn about repairing laptops as a fun challenge.
I managed to get my hands on a "HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ec2523nd" notebook that only shows a white power LED and doesnt respond to anything.
After initial testing I concluded the bios seems to be corrupted since all voltages are normal and there are no shorts. HP has a feature for a bios restore from USB with winkey+B for this model. This did not work.

I am requesting urgent assistance to unbrick my laptop, a rebranded TongFang GK7MRFR chassis. The laptop is completely dead following a faulty in-OS EC flash attempt.
I have successfully used a CH341A programmer and can read/write/verify both flash chips, but using my backups/extractions has failed to restore power. The root cause is likely a corrupted Intel Management Engine (ME) region or an incompatible EC/BIOS pairing. System & Hardware Details- Barebone / Chassis: TongFang GK7MRFR

I'm dealing with a classic BIOS corruption issue on an HP Pavilion 15-n058sr and hoping someone here might have the original BIOS file or point me in the right direction.
Symptoms:- Laptop powers on but no display at all (completely black screen)
- Caps Lock blinks twice with a pause, then repeats continuously
- F12 LED stays on permanently
- No POST, no boot sequence, nothing on screen

Sorry for the long story. I have a Dell Latitude 5530 (i7) laptop (South Peak 15 MLK MB DDR4 203102-1 FK8VG$JA) with an admin BIOS password that I want to remove. Service Tag: HYKFPT3. Other than that the laptop worked OK.
I found a CH341A Black and went looking for the BIOS chip on the motherboard. After trying to read one chip that was a firmware chip but not the BIOS I think I found the BIOS chip labeled Winbond 25Q256JVEN. Altogether I think I found 4 different firmware chips in the laptop. The BIOS chip is a WSON8 6x8. I used the CH341A, NeoProgrammer, and a cheap pogo pin clip...
