Yes you can try I already confirm the connection they are connected to U2 line, but try if the Programmer can detect it , please remove the batery or any that can power the board to avaoid further damage

I attempted a CMOS reset, but I could not get the BIOS to reset to unselect the 'Disable Built-in Battery' option. So I am trying to reprogram my BIOS now.

On top of that I also wiped the wrong chip... Can someone get me an export of the data for the: 25Q80DVSIG chip?

Additionally, for this laptop, since the BIOS is stored in 25R256JVEN, I don't see a way to desolder this chip, but I do see these contacts. Do I have to temporarily solder wires here to make this work? I'm unsure how to connect to this chip.

    My laptop:
    Serial: MJ-0G4908
    Type: 20TD-S00800

You are also welcome to watch this YouTube video, I just saw it today.
In the Lenovo ThinkPad E14 E15 Gen 2 model, there seems to be a serious processing error in which the Mosfets initially detach from the circuit board due to heat.
    Maybe that will help.

Hello, have you solved the problem with the chip whistling? Perhaps we have the same problems with the board. My board starts blinking 3 times as usual and then gives continuous long light signals. The fan does not spin and the keyboard backlight does not turn on. If you solved this problem, tell me how?

    Please help with my BIOS.
Unsure what exactly I need but I am assuming a clean ME.
Any expert here please suggest or point me in the right direction as to what might fix my issue.
The laptop was working fine. I got a notification about a critical BIOS update to prevent a known charging issue.
I updated BIOS using Lenovo update utility after the laptop won't boot.
The power LED turns on for few seconds then off and repeats.
When the power adapter is plugged in I can hear a high-frequency sound similar to what's described in post #9 of this thread.

    Machine type: 20TDS00B00
    Serial #: MJ0EKCYG
    Motherboard: GE4B0/GE5B0 NM-D011

    Thanks
