Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, I just procured an HP ProBook 640 G8 out of a commercial business shutting down. The BIOS is locked as well as BitLocker is requesting a password. The old head of the IT department said this employee lost this laptop however found it when they were moving. And it has been sitting since locked and encrypted. I can pull the solid state drive and wipe it and install Windows no problem, however I would really like to access the BIOS. Thank you for your time and any help would be appreciated.

After applying new BIOS, I am getting "BIOS identity data is recovered from an embedded controller due to mismatch" error and the password is still there.
