Hi,
In order to clear password from EC_ROM, you need just fill with "ÿ" between 37000 and 378b4.
And dont touch the second "NvramActiveRegn" in 3700f...

Can someone help me repair my original BIOS file?
The computer won't turn on; only the power LED is flashing.
After updating the BIOS, the computer worked, but it took a long time to boot and had a BIOS password.

hoaca388 but the laptop will not boot up. After that I tried but the message kept appearing. Please help me.

HI, I have a problem with ProBook 640 G8.
I had BIOS password, i cleared EC... but when i power on laptop i have 3-long + 2-short beeps and no display.
Even if i used EC backup or other backups from this furum, i have same problem...
Can any one help please by repairing this backup or any idea to solve this problem.

hoaca388 thanks for offering, if you're still ok to do it.
I've included both files now (getting the main bios chip off takes a lot of heat!). Can i just ask, what's the importance of getting both bioses off and not just the EC bios? I've read that its just a section of nvramactiveregion that needs clearing. I know this isn't the full story because i did it on another laptop and that thing whinges about security endpoint controller constantly.
