When Flashing BIOS goes wrong,IMEI error code 10

    Daamn...
I wanted to updat BIOS on my laptop.
I downloaded latest BIOS for this model which is UX31A and put it onto pendrive, ran START EASY FLASH and selected the BIOS version which was version 216 (downloaded from Asus website for this model).
After update has finished (erased previous BIOS and flashed) I got following message (pic below).
I could not boot the Windows 7 after that,so I had to reinstall OS and then after all drivers installed I get error code 10 in IMEI,which I was told is because of a "corrupted" BIOS flash.
Laptop works okay but a lot slower then before the flash, kinda it's like is needing more RAM.
I noticed it doesn't wake up from sleep,it reboots which is because of this failure.
So what would be best option except removing BIOS chip and flashing with external programator?
I downloaded every possible driver for IMEI for W7,no luck, because I suppose now it is hardware failure.

This motherboard has 2 similar chips. One is on the front marked with BIOS SKT "Winbond 25Q256JVEN" and one on the back marked with U351 "Gigadevice 25B256EYIG". I ignored the one on the back and only desoldered front chip. Made a backup, made sure the reading was the same with another 3 backups.

    Hi Badcaps,
I'm having the same Notebook and problem as in this topic:

I'm assuming that flashing the provided bios in this topic would solve my problem.
The only thing i can boot to is EFI shell
How do i flash the bios image in the EFI shell ? / Can i use any flash.nsh or is the executable interconnected to the bios image? ( i cannot find any bios related files in the internet...

    Dear Forum Readers!

I'm looking for a BIOS modder or anyone with experience who would give me suggestions about my razer blade's BIOS settings.

    X270 - Bios flashing help
    by Timeeez
    Hello everyone,

I am still a beginner and want to learn more about flashing bios. First of all, thank you very much for the tutorials made on this forum it helps a lot.

Lets get straight to the point. When I try to flash the bios of my Lenovo X270 it restarts several times and always returns to the bios that was there at the beginning. When I get the bios from someone on the forum and write it to the bios chip, I always have the same serial numbers. I have the feeling that the pc is reflashing itself. Where could this come from? How to avoid this problem?

[REQUEST] Dell G3 3579 BIOS Password & AMI Protected Range/BIOS Guard Unlock
    by zenius
Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...
