    Acer A114-31-C6QA - DA0Z8PMB8E0 REV-E

    Hello,
I have the Acer A114-31-C6QA, and motherboard model is the "DA0Z8PMB8E0 REV-E". The laptop doesn't turn ON (only power ON light is present). The 5V and 3.3V are present. I beleive that the problem. First I tried to re-program the bios chip "MX25U8033EM2I". I use the programmer CH341A and the RT809F but both couldn't programmed (give an error). I bought a new chip "MX25U8033EM1I" with 1I instead of 2I (I read on the datasheet that the only different is the size of the chip). Now the problem is that I re-program the new chip with the 1MB file but the power ON light now don't light.
Also, I re-program the "25LB64CS1G" chip with the 8MB file. This laptop has double bios?
I can't understand what happens and I can't find any other problem on the hardware.
Does anyone knows how can I certain that the chips that I re-program have the right bios?

Are you sure you have an Acer Aspire A314-31? Your 1MB.bin shows as Aspire A315-31 in text. The 8MB.bin also configured in MEA. Are these your original backup files?
Also check voltage at pin 8 on bios chips, you should have 3.3v or 1.8v on newer models.

Further research shows up that it is the correct motherboard for those two models... Try the files here, post #2. https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...ht=DA0Z8PMB8E0

Acer e15-e5-576g-5762 bricked. Bios chip won't interface in AsProgrammer.
            by inck243
Thanks for any help. The board version is DAZAARMB6E0 REV: E. The bios chip is winbond 25Q64JVSIQ1736. W25Q64JV is not available in AsProgrammer -- only BV CV FV or FW_1.8c. The chip won't interface with asProgrammer and a CH341A. When I have this chip on the board, the laptop will not post but when I plug it in to power, the blue LED lights up, also the orange when the battery is connected. When I push the power on button, keyboard backlight turns on and the fan starts briefely then turns off. But I can't do anything to program this bios chip so I bought another one.

            The BIOS...

Strange! Acer laptop not powering on but charging the battery (orange light on when charger and battery plugged in).

            Hello Everyone!

I have an Acer Aspire A315-42 laptop. I generally leave it on for long time by closing down its lid (so it enters the sleep mode). Recently, it rained quite heavily in out area. And the humidity and moisture seem to be high. So one late evening, after I opened the lid and turned on the laptop, it did power on as the blue light turned on but after it booted to the desktop screen, just 5-10 seconds after both the screen and blue light went out and laptop shut down (the blue power light turned orange). And after 2-4 seconds that orange light went off and the laptop died.

Modify Acer V65X BIOS to initialize the CS4237B chip
            by kotel studios
            Hi,

Since the ACER V65X doesn't have the onboard CS4237B audio and my own V65XA BIOS is toast, I need some help trying to figure out how am I supposed to put the init instructions from lets say an Acer V58XA with the same audio chip into the V65X BIOS.

Anybody who could be kind enough to at least seperate the part where V58XA initializes the sound chip?

Attaching the V58XA and V65X BIOS'es in the zip files....
