Good morning, how are you?
I have a problem with this BIOS.
It starts with the fan at maximum speed, restarts a few times (I think it's configuring the BIOS), but then the machine doesn't turn on.
I recorded one here on the forum, it started but then gave the same symptom.

I reprogrammed the BIOS with one I found on the Alisaler website, and the laptop turned on, but it takes a long time to display the image. Could someone help me fix the BIOS? Here's the original BIOS that wouldn't turn on, and the Alisaler BIOS, which does work but takes a long time to display the video. Thanks!Comment

Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,... -
looking for a fully extracted (by programmer) Bios for a Dell Inspiron 17 (7786) v.1.09 or newer, so I can compare it with my own bios to check for corruption.
