The bios and everything else is free here,working and non working.No payment required,and it shouldn`t be asked for... or given
Its strange,youve got ME version 12 firmware in both backups,yet the Latitude 7380 only supports 11.8 .Your service tag is 1234567 as well.What have you done to the bios,don`t you have the original one.Comment

No, the BIOS downloaded and started updating itself, then the laptop rebooted and gave an error and now it does not respond to the power button, the owner of the laptop told me this.Comment

The bottom cover is all worn out and most likely not the original color differs from the main color of the case, the servistag is not visible, here is a photo of the board from the inside.Last edited by latin_m; 11-23-2021, 02:39 PM.Comment

The laptop is not new, bought on ebay, to my friends, I convey everything from his words, the bottom cover is pink, and the model on it is 7370 for this reason, I thought it was 7370, but after disassembling the laptop I realized that it was 7380
P.s. All people lie, and maybe this is not the whole truth about this laptop, but for me it is not so important, it is important to try to restore it

The bios is from an Inspiron 7380 (i should have looked closer),not a latitude,no wonder the ME FW is different. The bios update at dell for the 7380 is also for the inspiron 7580. Can`t find a 7380 dump but found a 7580. Whats even stranger is that comparing both the flash descriptor is a bit different.One things for sure,the bios has been messed around with .Comment

So, i kinda spend significant ammount of the last couple of days trying to flash a new bios, and or unlocking the current bios password with little to no results.
The whole thing started with it being the 8fc8 bios, i found the tools to unlock that but i needed a bios dump. So i pursued that, im at a point where i dessoudered the chip, and succesfully soudered it to the ch341, dumped whatever was on it.
However, the tools supposed to unlock the 8fc8 say that there is no 8fc8 hex inside. And when i followed diffrent tutorials to just flash a new bios onto the chip i got stuck on the... -

i have dell latitude E7270 with following symptoms:
- takes long time to restart.
- sometimes powers on and then off
- sometimes while working it just dies,
From googling online bios clean could possible resolve this?
i was able to save bios and was going to try bios clean myself but get an below error when i drop it in ME analyzer.(unsure whether this sometimes occurs or could be due to bad/corrupt bios)
As ME analyzer gave me an error i just decided to write bios with a cleaned bios from E7270 bios post.

Hi,
I have OriginPC EON 15SL, however, my laptop starts and shutsdown after 1-2 second. Keyboard leds are coming on then fans spinning then it shutsdown and not turning back on unless I plug out the power cable and plug it in. I had issues with bricked BIOS then I flashed BIOS I got from the vendor to the SPI chip and still it didn’t worked because my EC firmware was newer than the BIOS I have flashed. So I wanted to try flashing the EC chip with the correct firmware that matches with the BIOS also from the vendor and it worked everything was well, and then stupid me wanted to unlock some...
