I have the original bios which I believe is corrupted as the laptop will not post. I also have the official Acer bios from the Acer website which is too big for the IC

First of all what's the laptop make, full model name and serial number? Issue description?

Secondly w25q80 is not the bios chip.

I hope you made a good backup of that chip as you`ll have to flash it back.Find the bios chip and make sure you have a good backup,don`t flash anything else,post the backup here then wait for help.

W25Q80xxxx is not the bios chip as I said, must be W25Q128xxxx or similar 16MB SPI chip, see post #1.

You have absolutely no idea what it's all about, but you keep persevering with some nonsense theories.
I will say it for the third time especially for you - W25Q80xxxx is not the bios chip, most probably it's a firmware for Thunderbolt Retimer chip, but it is NOT the bios chip.
