    Unlocking
HP - ProBook, EliteBook, ZBook (including 32MB models)
    Chromebooks from all various manufacturers
Apple - everything older than T2
    More to come...

Information display (helps to verify file integrity)
HP - ProBook, EliteBook, ZBook (up to 16MB models for now)

    Custom logo removal
HP - ProBook, EliteBook, ZBook (up to 16MB models for now)

Usage: Drag and drop .bin file to .exe file.

In case there are problems with unlocking your laptop, write a short description of the issue, upload original file and if possible, _unlocked.bin file aswell. Just crying for help is useless. Keep the topic as clean as possible.

You may ask for feature requests, I'll see what I can do.

    Hello!

HP ProBook 455 G7 25Q128JVSQ chip (BIOS label next to it). I read it, opened it with RC-Unlocker, but it still asks for the password. I also tried HP Unlocker, but the same thing happened. Why can't I delete the password?

CH341 Mini programmer with ASProgrammer 2.0
I've also tried the application that comes with CH341 and Neoprogrammer.
    Marking on IC: W25Q128FVSQ
using miniprogrammer 25 series and clipped to the IC chip.
Unable to grab a dump without crc errors and all FFFF's
See my screenshot of the error and the programmer setup.
    What am I doing wrong?
    Looking for suggestions?
-if I unsolder the chip - can it be tested in my mini programmer or do I need to buy more adapters?
-do i unsolder the chip and buy a new one?
-do I ask for a dump file and overwrite it on the chip?

    TIA.
I have done many Probook 650 G1 before, it's best to desolder the IC.

It should be possible to solder the IC on the PCB where your IC clip is connected to.

Is the chip type SOP8 (with legs) or WSON8 (no legs, flat on the motherboard) .What adapters did you get with the programmer,if any

Please take a look and let me know if you see where the problem is.
