When I drag the 32-bit .bin file to the RCUnlocker.exe it tells me to modify the file to make it 16mb. How can I do that? Can someone help me? I also need to know which of the BIOS chips contains the NVRAM because I have a HP 805 G6 mini PC that has two identical 32mb chips in two different places on the board and I don't know which one I have to read, unlock, and write.

on both...use the HxD program (you can find it for free) cut the 32MB bios into 2x16MB use RCUnlocker on both 32MB bios, merge them and write them...be sure to make backup copies without errors so you don't have problems later...

My HP ProBook 650 G1 has a bios that reports "System Information Not Valid". I want to edit the system information with the Windows version of NbDmiFit14 on a WinPE USB stick.
The tool reports that the bios is locked. I tried RCUnlocker but it won't make an unlocked file because of "missing information". I also tried HPUnlocker. That makes a new file but when I try to updae the bios with this new file, it's not unlocked.
Can someone help me unlock the bios or give me a link to a tool that does the job? Or a goed 'how to' do al this?
Here is my backed up bios file.
                Serial Number is 5CG50936LL

Hi there. First time posting. Was hoping I could be given instructions to unlock my hp elite book 8470p. The bios has a password and I don't get any tips hints or codes when entering it incorrectly. Downloaded the tool just need to know what to do so I don't brick my device.

Can somebody help me, why I'm getting "VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found" error?

install vcc++ redistributable both 64bit and 32bit versions and reboot. Although I think it only needs the 32bit version

I just found a Python script. I tried it, but after inserting the chip, it asked for the password again. It didn't work. I'll be waiting for the file from you, thank you very much. peste

Hello everybody, I solved the problem. There are two BIOS chips on the motherboard: one is 16 MB and the other is 32 MB.

First, I used the HxD program to split the 32 MB BIOS file into two parts: Part 1 (16 MB) and Part 2 (16 MB). Then, I dragged each part into the RCUnlocker program. RCUnlocker didn't make any changes to Part 1, but it did make some modifications to Part 2. After that, I merged the two files back together, obtaining a 32 MB BIOS file again.

Next, I also dragged the 16 MB BIOS file from the second chip into RCUnlocker, and it completed the process on that file as well.

I flashed the new files to both BIOS chips, installed them in the device, and it booted up with the passwords cleared.

Note 1: When I only performed this process on the 32 MB chip, the device still asked for a password.
Note 2: I did not try processing only the 16 MB chip by itself, so I don't know if that alone would have worked.
Note 3: The problem is definitely fixed when both the 32 MB and 16 MB chips are re-flashed.
