    install vcc++ redistributable both 64bit and 32bit versions and reboot. Although I think it only needs the 32bit version...

      Many thanks a very useful tool from the read up. However just after I wrote my request I decided to dig up in the bin content and borrowed one of your teams answer to another g7 fury and compared the locked vs unlocked bin files and I think it was easy enough to see what to overwrite with FF's. I haven't tried my frankenstein update yet but if it fails will definitely use your tool.
