    Toshiba A30-C-19E hangs in POST

    Hello,
    I got this laptop, it hangs in POST (Toshiba Logo) after windows installation according to previous owner. No Bios access possible.

    Here is the dump, could anybody fix it, please? Could be bad ME section?!

        This is your file, just repaired with extracted bios IMG from the official bios update, also cleared ME region. Try and report.

            Are you trying without any hard disk installed? Try putting a known good drive in, and some Toshiba laptops will not enter bios if no HDD connected.

              That is impossible, because it has an m2 SSD and I don't have one at the moment. But I tried with a windows USB stick and nothing

                Leave it on for a while, I've seen a few of these suckers decide to boot after 20-30 minutes of doing nothing.

                    Okay BIOS is working, thanks a lot SMDFlea!

                    Now i have a supervisor password. I think this is because I have flashed another bios which was with password and not the SMSC chip has password.
                    How to remove?

                      The pass is stored in the SMSC chip, it can only be removed by challenge response code or by swapping the SMSC chip with one that has nopass.
